Christmas Cookies

So a friend roped me to help her make little christmas favors for her colleagues at work. This is part one, more to come in the next few days...

Jars of cookies in 4 different flavors were whipped up....

Midnight Crinkles, named so cos of its rich dark color derived from the 73% cocoa chocolate used.

Cranberry shortbread. Rich, buttery cookies and a light tang from the dried cranberries.

Pistachio and Cranberry squares. Remember those old school blue tins of buttercookies from back in those days? These are the mordernized, jazzed up version, with the addition of jade green pistachios and maroon cranberries with a hint of cinnamon.

Espresso chocolate shortbread. Coffee flavored buttery yums with bits of dark chocolate chips.
